About HANNAH

A Little ABOUT ME

Hannah has been coaching, encouraging, and building others up for almost eighteen years. With kindness and clarity, she helps people turn their pain into purpose, cultivate healthy growth, and better navigate change. In essence, Hannah helps you recover or discover — empowering you to show up as your best self.

A seminarian turned makeup artist turned coach, Hannah serves as the gentle hand on your back — encouraging you to step forward, look in the mirror, and see what others already see in you. She is a gifted writer, speaker, and singer, determined to use her voice to help others know and believe in their own value and worth.

HER Story

Hannah's journey toward healing didn't begin in a classroom — it began in her own life. Growing up in an abusive home, Hannah faced pain that could have defined her in the worst way. But at a pivotal moment, she made a decision that would shape everything that came after:

"I didn't want to be a hurt person who hurts people. I wanted to be a healed person who heals people."

— Hannah Wachter

That decision set her life in motion. She packed up her life in Washington D.C. and made a cross-country move to Portland, Oregon — a leap of faith that opened the door to her own deep healing work. Over the years that followed, Hannah walked through many modalities of therapy, pursued seminary, discovered her gift for makeup artistry, and eventually found her way into coaching. Each season built on the last, all pointing toward the same calling: helping others heal.

Then in 2022, Hannah's mother died unexpectedly. Through courageously sharing her own grief journey, she realized there were few spaces where grievers can exist without judgment. Resolute, she decided to provide that space herself — which led her directly to the Grief Recovery Method and her certification as an Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist.

Now Hannah helps those suffering from loss say goodbye to pain, unmet hopes, dreams, and expectations — and hello to the fond memories and the freedom of what was.

Here's what a client says about working with Hannah:

"Upon seeing Hannah Wachter first on the list, her bio spoke to my heart.”

Once we connected, I knew I made the right choice. Her compassion from the moment we met never stopped. Her encouragement through my whole process never stopped. I highly recommend Hannah for yourself or anyone you may know who is going through moments of grief.
